Zenergize Launches 15 kW Solar Inverter as Rooftop Solar Demand Expands Beyond Homes
Zenergize, an Indian power-electronics company, has launched a new 15 kW three-phase grid-tied solar inverter. This expands its product line for higher-capacity rooftop solar installations. The inverter supports a maximum PV power input of 20 kWp and offers up to 98.5% maximum efficiency. It targets larger homes, institutions, and small businesses in India, moving beyond conventional residential setups. The launch also solidifies Zenergize's technology partnership with Infineon Technologies.
Zenergize’s 15 kW inverter launch reflects India’s shifting rooftop solar demand. The market now extends beyond small households. Larger homes, institutions, and small businesses require greater capacity. This product meets that need, building on Zenergize’s existing 3 kW and 5 kW SiC-based portfolio. Its 98.5% efficiency and -25°C to 55°C operating range are designed for India’s challenging climate.
The move positions Zenergize to capture a growing segment of India's energy market. Its use of Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, supported by Infineon, enhances performance. SiC reduces power losses and improves thermal management, critical for Indian conditions. This local engineering and manufacturing approach helps India reduce reliance on imported solar components.
The test for Zenergize is execution. Expanding beyond residential installations means navigating more complex commercial requirements. Ensuring consistent reliability across India's diverse grid conditions will be key. Watch for how quickly Zenergize can scale deployments in this new segment and whether its efficiency claims hold up in real-world, large-scale applications.
