MSI Malaysia unveils the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, the world’s first Nvidia RTX Spark-powered 2-in-1 laptop

MSI Malaysia has introduced the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, a 2-in-1 convertible laptop featuring NVIDIA's RTX Spark system-on-chip. NVIDIA describes the RTX Spark as the world’s first SoC to integrate an RTX GPU, specifically designed for on-device agentic AI, content creation, and gaming. MSI Malaysia highlights this model as the sole 2-in-1 device in the initial global rollout of RTX Spark Windows laptops.

The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is positioned as a dedicated platform for advanced local AI processing, particularly for agentic AI. This refers to artificial intelligence capable of operating autonomously to design, execute, and optimize workflows with minimal human intervention. The core of this capability is the NVIDIA RTX Spark, which integrates an RTX GPU directly into a system-on-chip, purpose-built for AI tasks performed directly on the device.

A key design choice for this laptop is its significant GPU memory, which is crucial for running large AI models efficiently. Insufficient memory can lead to data spilling into slower system memory, causing response lags. To counter this, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ offers configurations with 64GB and 128GB of memory. The 128GB model is specifically noted for its ability to run large AI models, supporting up to 70-billion and 100-billion parameters locally.

These memory capacities allow users to execute complex generative AI, AI coding, and video editing tasks directly on the device, reducing latency and reliance on cloud-based processing. Furthermore, the laptop incorporates a Vapor Chamber and IntraFlow cooling system, which MSI Malaysia states is designed to maintain stable performance during prolonged AI agent operation, model inference, and software development, preventing thermal throttling.
