MediaTek Helio G99+ launches as new 4G chipset with faster RAM for affordable phones
MediaTek has introduced the Helio G99+, a refreshed 4G processor designed for cost-sensitive smartphone markets. This new chipset maintains the core 6nm TSMC design of the original Helio G99 but upgrades memory support from LPDDR4X (up to 4266 Mbps) to LPDDR5X (up to 5500 Mbps).
