Firmable launches Tech Intelligence, showing B2B sales teams what their prospects actually run and who to call about it
Firmable, an AI-native B2B sales platform operating across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the US, and Canada, has launched Tech Intelligence. This new add-on identifies 75,317 technologies used by over 19 million businesses, including back-office infrastructure, and links these detections to verified decision-maker contacts.
Firmable's Tech Intelligence product aims to address a specific challenge for B2B sales teams: understanding a prospect's existing technology stack. A company survey of US sales teams indicated that 71% considered a lack of timing and context on a prospect their biggest headache, ahead of issues with contact data. This suggests that insight into a prospect's current tech environment can be a critical factor in sales effectiveness.
The product distinguishes itself from many existing technographic tools, which often analyze marketing websites or job advertisements. Firmable states its system monitors 10 billion internet endpoints weekly and uses four detection methods, including network and infrastructure observations. This broader approach is intended to uncover back-office systems like email hosting, identity providers, and on-premises infrastructure, which are often missed by conventional methods and can be crucial for sales targeting.
Tech Intelligence is designed for B2B teams whose deals depend on a prospect's current technology, such as software vendors, managed service providers, and cybersecurity firms. It offers use cases from identifying competitors to finding complementary tools or service opportunities. By integrating with AI assistants and providing confidence scores for each detection, Firmable aims to give sales teams a more precise and actionable view of their prospects' technology landscapes.
