XTransfer Plans New Partnerships at Hong Kong, Singapore Fintech Events

XTransfer plans to sign new agreements with international financial institutions at upcoming fintech events in Hong Kong and Singapore. These collaborations are intended to expand the cross-border payments provider’s global clearing network, which connects paying and receiving banks for local currency trade payments across nearly 60 countries and regions.

XTransfer’s strategy for expanding its global clearing network focuses on integrating local financial capabilities from partner institutions. The company's model allows banks and payment providers to contribute local collection, payout, and foreign exchange services. This approach aims to enhance the network's reach and efficiency, particularly in addressing challenges like limited access to foreign exchange and settlement delays in emerging markets.

The planned agreements at Hong Kong Fintech Week and Singapore Fintech Festival continue XTransfer's established pattern of collaboration. Previous events saw partnerships with institutions such as Maybank, Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank, Bank SinoPac, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. These ongoing integrations are central to XTransfer extending its settlement network, which currently serves over one million small and medium-sized enterprises globally and works with more than 170 financial partners.

Beyond payment infrastructure, XTransfer highlights its AI-powered compliance and risk management capabilities. CEO Bill Deng is scheduled to participate in discussions on AI-driven risk management, local-currency settlement, and financial services for SMEs. This indicates the company's emphasis on technological innovation to secure and streamline cross-border transactions. Partners can also access services like Pay-to-China via an application programming interface (API), integrating their operations with XTransfer's platform.
