Qashier Launches AI General Manager for Singapore Merchants
Qashier has launched QashierGM, an AI general manager tool for merchants in Singapore, offering it without additional cost to users of its QashierHQ platform. The tool provides insights into sales and payouts, suggests promotions, and automates operational tasks, with expansion to Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines planned for November.
QashierGM is designed to support small business owners by acting as an AI general manager, using a merchant's own transaction and settlement data to answer questions about sales, payouts, and products. It can clarify discrepancies, such as why a payout is lower than daily sales, and suggest festive promotions based on popular items, a feature observed during its September beta phase with active F&B operators.
Beyond analytical support, QashierGM facilitates operational changes. Owners can direct the AI to update item prices, mark products as sold out, or add new items. The system displays proposed changes on a card and requires explicit owner confirmation before implementation. For multi-outlet businesses, it enables store comparisons and the ability to push a single change across all locations, aiming to streamline management for operators without dedicated general managers.
The tool integrates with "Crew," Qashier's work chat feature, allowing team members to tag @GM in conversations to check figures, update inventory, or send customer invoices with payment links. This extends QashierGM's function from a backend analytical tool to an interactive assistant within daily team communications, operating within defined permissions and supporting multiple regional languages. Qashier plans to add connectors to third-party apps like Gmail and Google Business Profile in November.
