LMP, TESDA, Aboitiz Foundation Bring Opportunities Closer to Communities

Aboitiz Foundation's expanded partnerships with the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) and TESDA aim to scale digital skills and sustainability programs across the Philippines. The LMP collaboration facilitates the deployment of AuroraPH for digital learning, Elevate AIDA for digital skills, and CarbonPH for environmental resilience. This structure allows Aboitiz Foundation to reach more communities by leveraging local government coordination. The focus on AIDA Plus with TESDA, Visayan Electric, and Cebu Call Center Academy is particularly noteworthy, shifting from general digital skills training to a direct skills-to-jobs pathway. This is a practical approach to addressing the Philippines' digital economy needs, ensuring that training translates into tangible employment opportunities. Gamaliel B. Vicente Jr., Regional Director of TESDA VII, emphasized the importance of aligning training with employer requirements, a critical factor for workforce development in the region.
