BenQ Launches PV3250U in India for Professional Colour Grading and Post Production
BenQ has launched its Creative Pro PV3250U monitor in India, targeting colourists, video editors, and post-production studio owners. The 31.5-inch 4K UHD display, introduced at Broadcast India 2026, reportedly features hardware calibration, precise shadow reproduction, and practical inspection tools, available at an end-customer price of ₹1,48,998.
The BenQ PV3250U is presented as a specialized solution for professionals, particularly addressing the challenge of consistent colour decisions in dark scenes. BenQ states the monitor combines a 3000:1 native contrast ratio, gamma 2.4 tuning, and AQCOLOR technology, which are reported to preserve shadow gradation and minimize black crush within Rec.709 workflows.
The monitor reportedly undergoes factory calibration with enhanced dark-tone patch validation to support accurate evaluation across the shadow range. An inspection tool called 'Shadow Check' is described as temporarily lifting dark areas to reveal low-light details, allowing users to return to calibrated viewing for final decisions without modifying the source content.
Beyond dark tone clarity, the PV3250U includes 16-bit 3D LUT hardware calibration, 99% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709 colour gamut coverage, and HDR10 and HLG support with VESA DisplayHDR 600. Connectivity is supported by Thunderbolt 4, which facilitates video, data, and up to 96W of power delivery, aiming to streamline professional setups.
