Antom Reshuffles SEA Leadership, DOKU and 2C2P Get New Heads
Antom, Ant International’s merchant payment and digitisation provider, announced leadership changes across Southeast Asia. Nabilah Alsagoff, DOKU co-founder, is now Head of Product for Antom SEA. Chris Yeo, former DOKU CEO, heads Antom Philippines and 2C2P Philippines. Himelda Renuat, DOKU co-founder, is CEO of DOKU and Head of Antom Indonesia. These appointments follow Ant International’s acquisition of a 92.5% stake in DOKU.
Antom’s leadership reshuffle is less about new faces and more about consolidating Ant International’s control over its Southeast Asian payment brands. The appointments of DOKU co-founders Alsagoff and Renuat, alongside former DOKU CEO Yeo, into Antom leadership roles, show a clear integration strategy. This follows Ant International’s acquisition of 92.5% of DOKU, as reported by DealStreetAsia. The focus is on a unified product roadmap and AI-native solutions.
The move benefits Antom by streamlining operations and leveraging existing DOKU expertise within its expanded ecosystem. For merchants in markets like Indonesia and the Philippines, this promises more integrated payment options. Worachat Luxkanalode, Head of Antom SEA, stated the goal is to make customers "fully AI-ready." This suggests a push for advanced payment and commerce capabilities across the region.
The thing to watch is how Antom integrates 2C2P, its other key Southeast Asian brand, into this unified structure. Chris Yeo’s dual role leading both Antom Philippines and 2C2P Philippines points to a similar integration path. The test for Antom is whether this consolidation translates into genuinely superior AI-native offerings by late 2027, or merely simplifies internal reporting lines.
