AIsphere Officially Opens Hong Kong Office at Cyberport, Building an AI Hub for the City
AIsphere, an AI video generation company, officially opened its Hong Kong office at Cyberport on October 13, 2026. This office is positioned as an AI hub for local enterprises, government bodies, universities, and creators, with plans to hire local staff and host industry-focused events.
AIsphere's new Hong Kong office is designed to function as an AI hub, aligning with the HKSAR Government's recently published five-year plan (2026β2030) for AI development. This plan aims to integrate AI across various sectors, advance the "AI+" initiative, build computing infrastructure, and improve public AI literacy. The company's establishment in Cyberport directly supports this broader governmental vision for AI application.
The company's approach involves specific cooperation agreements to facilitate AI adoption. In industry, AIsphere partnered with XGRIDS to merge 3D reconstruction with AI video for sectors like film, tourism, and real estate. For education, a collaboration with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will integrate AI video into humanities teaching and responsible-AI practices, extending to internships and joint research. These partnerships aim to put AI video models, including PixVerse, to practical use.
Beyond commercial applications, AIsphere is also engaging in community initiatives. Partnerships with the Youth Committee of the Hong Kong Fujian Sanming Association and the Hong Kong Youth New Vision Association focus on AI literacy talks, creative workshops, and exploring AI use in community services. This effort to provide hands-on exposure is intended to build public understanding and confidence in AI, as noted by Dr. Pan Yuan, AIsphere's Chief Representative in Hong Kong.
