Lexology Brings Regulatory Intelligence To Claude With Lexology PRO MCP | AAP
Lexology has launched an MCP connector designed to integrate its global regulatory intelligence directly into the Claude AI platform. The new tool allows Lexology PRO subscribers, including law firms and in-house legal teams, to access regulatory updates and expert analysis within their existing AI environment. Lexology states this enables users to put intelligence to work without switching platforms.
Lexology PRO's new MCP connector allows legal professionals to query laws, compliance obligations, regulatory changes, and enforcement activity using natural language within the Claude AI environment. This integration is presented as a way for subscribers to conduct research and establish new workflows without needing to leave the AI tools they already use, keeping the intelligence alongside their other work.
A reported feature is the ability to verify information: every answer generated through the connector draws on Lexology PRO's regulatory updates and specialist analysis, with links provided to the underlying source material. This mechanism is intended to support accountability and validation within the AI-driven research process, addressing a common concern regarding AI-generated information.
Access to this integration requires an active Lexology PRO subscription that includes MCP access. While Lexology PRO covers over 1,200 regulatory sources across numerous work areas and jurisdictions, the connector is being rolled out with content sets incrementally, starting with regulatory updates and analysis. This phased approach means that not all Lexology PRO content may be immediately available through the Claude integration.
