Insurtech Igloo Eyes Fivefold SaaS Growth as It Targets MENA Expansion
Singapore-based insurtech Igloo aims to grow its Igloo Tech Solutions software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform fivefold over the next two years, with plans to expand into the Middle East and North Africa. The platform, launched in June 2025, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automate insurance sales, product development, and claims processing for its more than 10 clients across Asia.
Igloo Tech Solutions provides a software-as-a-service platform that assists insurers, banks, and other businesses in developing, distributing, and managing insurance products. A core component of its offering is the integration of artificial intelligence, which is applied to streamline various operational aspects of the insurance value chain.
The company reports that its AI-powered product builder has reduced the configuration time for new insurance offerings from two days to 20 minutes. This acceleration in product development could enable clients to introduce new insurance products to market significantly faster, allowing for quicker responses to evolving customer needs or competitive shifts.
Additionally, Igloo's AI claims system reportedly adjudicated over 50,000 cases in the first quarter of 2026, achieving a stated accuracy rate of 94 percent. Such automation in claims processing indicates potential for faster claim resolution for policyholders and reduced administrative costs for insurers, while aiming to maintain a high level of decision consistency. These reported efficiencies in both product creation and claims management are central to Igloo's strategy as it seeks to expand its footprint across Southeast Asia and into new regions like MENA.
