The Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) performed a detailed aerobatic display over Bor Talav in Bhavnagar, featuring nine Hawk Mk-132 aircraft. The team, recognized as Asia's only nine-aircraft formation, executed complex manoeuvres including close formation flying, loops, rolls, and inverted flying. These aircraft left saffron, white, and green smoke trails, visually representing the national flag.
Beyond the aerial spectacle, the event, jointly organized by the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation and district administration, included a motivational stall providing information on Indian Air Force career opportunities. An air simulator facility and a musical performance by the Air Force Band of Headquarters South Western Air Command were also part of the program, alongside the presence of Union Minister Nimuben Bambhaniya as chief guest.
IAF officials indicated that the display aimed to engage the public and inspire younger generations. Wing Commander Abhishek Kumar Tiwari noted the tradition of strengthening bonds between armed forces and citizens, while Squadron Leader Vikram, one of the pilots, expressed hope that the demonstration would encourage youngsters to consider joining the armed forces.
