DCS DeCard Launches Corporate Cards for Businesses in Hong Kong
DCS DeCard has launched its DeCard Business Account, a corporate card and spend management platform for mid-market and enterprise businesses in Hong Kong. The company, now a Mastercard issuer in the region, is offering cards denominated and funded in USD, which it states provides a single balance for global spending.
DCS DeCard, powered by DCS Group, has introduced its DeCard Business Account platform in Hong Kong, enabling businesses to issue Mastercard corporate cards and manage expenditure. This new offering allows companies to oversee both employee and operational spending, covering areas like business travel, advertising, and procurement, alongside managing expenses, billing, and invoices. The platform represents DCS DeCard's direct-to-business solution, complementing its existing Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS) offering for partners.
A key feature at launch is that the corporate cards are denominated and funded in USD. According to DCS DeCard, this configuration provides businesses with a single USD balance for spending across various markets on Mastercard’s global acceptance network. This approach could simplify financial operations for Hong Kong companies engaged in international transactions, potentially streamlining cross-border expenditure management.
The company plans to expand the platform into more markets and add treasury account management, with a longer-term aim to combine corporate spending and treasury management. This expansion builds on DCS Group’s reported fifty years of experience in payments infrastructure.
