Chery’s Jetour T1 launches in China from 12,500 USD with Deepseek and 150 km electric range
Chery's Jetour brand launched new T1 series variants in China on November 4, 2026, including a lower-priced 1.5T front-wheel-drive model and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The updated lineup integrates DeepSeek and iFlytek Spark large language models for in-cabin voice interaction and other functions.
The Jetour T1 series now features an infotainment system running Chery’s Tour OS, which incorporates DeepSeek and iFlytek Spark large language models. These LLMs are specified for voice interaction and various cabin functions, running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processors in entry models and Snapdragon 8255 in Plus versions. This integration aims to enhance the user experience through conversational AI within the vehicle.
A notable addition is the T1 Plus C-DM plug-in hybrid variant. This model combines a 1.5T petrol engine with a single-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and a 26.6 kWh battery, providing a CLTC-rated electric range of 150 km. The PHEV also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) power delivery, rated at 2.2 kW for interior use and 6.6 kW externally, which allows the vehicle to supply electricity to external appliances.
Beyond the hybrid offering, Jetour expanded the T1 series with a more accessible 1.5T front-wheel-drive entry model, starting at 89,900 yuan (13,500 USD) under a limited-time promotional trade-in offer. This broadens the T1's market reach, complementing the existing 2.0T all-wheel-drive models and the advanced driver-assistance systems in top-spec Plus configurations.
