ChatGPT Health adds Epic integration for clinicians to import patient data

Clinicians can access details such as appointment notes, lab results, medications, and specialist documentation to summarize information and prepare for future appointments. The company emphasizes that the integration provides read-only access to health records, with AI not writing back to patient charts. OpenAI also introduced a new Healthcare Public Data plug-in to fetch information from sources like ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed.
