Adobe is making its tools available in Slack
Adobe is integrating over 70 of its tools, including Firefly, Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat, directly into Slack through the Adobe for Slack MCP app. This integration allows users to access Adobe applications via Slack's AI chatbot, Slackbot. Users can describe tasks to Slackbot, which then calls the appropriate Adobe tool, leveraging conversation context to create PDFs, images, or videos from chat information. The new functionality is initially available to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ teams, with Adobe planning similar integrations for Gemini after a recent ChatGPT rollout.
The integration of Adobe's creative and productivity tools with Slackbot reflects a broader industry shift towards conversational AI interfaces.
