BEYOND Expo Upgrades to BEYOND as Asia's Most Dynamic Tech Festival, Returning to Macao on 26-29 May 2027
BEYOND, formerly BEYOND Expo, will host its annual tech festival in Macao from May 26-29, 2027. The event has rebranded to reflect its evolution from a technology exhibition into a broader gathering for entrepreneurship, investment, and media. Since its 2021 launch, BEYOND has attracted over 160,000 participants from more than 120 countries. The 2027 event expects over 35,000 participants and 1,200 exhibiting companies.
BEYOND's rebrand to a shorter name reflects its expansion beyond a simple expo. The event now encompasses six pillars, including BEYOND Ventures for capital connection and BEYOND Spotlight for visibility. This structure aims to create a more integrated innovation ecosystem for the 160,000 participants it has drawn over five years.
The focus on connecting startups with 900+ investors and 700+ media outlets directly benefits Asia's emerging tech scene. Macao's role as host positions it as a regional hub for deal-making and exposure. This event offers a critical platform for Asian startups to secure funding and international recognition, especially in AI and new energy.
The real test for BEYOND 2027 is its ability to deliver tangible investment outcomes for Asian startups. While 35,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors are strong numbers, the volume of actual deals will determine its long-term value.
