Xgimi launches RS30 Pro High Brightness Edition with 4500 CVIA lumens and 4K 120Hz support

Xgimi has launched its RS30 Pro High Brightness Edition projector in China, available on JD.com for 7,299 yuan ($1,092). This new model reportedly offers 4,500 CVIA lumens, an increase from the standard RS30 Pro's 3,200 CVIA lumens, and supports 4K resolution at 120Hz.

The Xgimi RS30 Pro High Brightness Edition is a projector designed for home entertainment. Its reported light output of 4,500 CVIA lumens suggests a capability to project clearer images even in rooms with some ambient light, which could broaden its practical use beyond dark, dedicated home cinema spaces. This represents a notable increase over the 3,200 CVIA lumens of the previous model.

A key feature highlighted is the projector's variable iris, which adjusts its aperture between F/2.0 and F/5.0. This mechanism dynamically regulates light based on ambient room conditions and content, reportedly achieving a native contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 60,000:1. This allows the device to enhance image depth, darkening blacks in dim scenes while brightening vibrant content.

The projector uses a 0.47-inch DMD display chip with DLP technology for 4K UHD resolution and a QuaLas42 laser system. It also includes practical features for installation, such as a built-in gimbal stand for flexible positioning and Xgimi’s Eagle-Eye 5.0 system for automatic focus and keystone correction. For gaming, it supports 4K at 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
