Wizstar Launches Wizshot 1.0, Its First In-House Video Generation Model, Making High-Quality AI Video Creation More Cost-Efficient
Wizstar, an AI-powered content creation platform, has launched Wizshot 1.0, its first in-house reference-to-video model. The company states Wizshot 1.0 delivers video quality comparable to leading models while reducing generation costs by 72% compared to Seedance 2.0, aiming to make high-quality AI video more accessible for commercial use.
Wizstar's introduction of Wizshot 1.0 represents a move towards greater control over its AI video generation capabilities. The company developed this reference-to-video model internally, a strategic choice it claims allows for a better balance between video quality and production cost. Wizstar reports that Wizshot 1.0 can generate high-quality 720p videos, supporting both landscape and portrait formats, for a stated cost of 5 Credits per second.
A central aim of Wizshot 1.0 is to address the high costs often associated with AI video production, which can limit creative iteration and large-scale content creation. Wizstar states that its in-house development and performance optimization have resulted in a 72% lower generation cost compared to Seedance 2.0. This reduction is intended to make frequent use and scalable content production more viable for creators and businesses.
Beyond cost efficiency, Wizstar has focused on optimizing Wizshot 1.0 across several quality dimensions. These include audio-visual synchronization, prompt adherence, and maintaining consistency in product appearance and human identity across scenes. Such capabilities are designed to enhance video coherence and realism, supporting applications in commercial video production, product marketing, and digital content creation, particularly through its support for up to nine reference images per generation.
The launch signifies Wizstar's investment in proprietary AI technology, allowing it to develop its own models alongside integrating third-party solutions. This approach aims to give Wizstar greater control over video quality, generation costs, and creative workflows within its expanding AI creation ecosystem.
