Singapore to Broaden AI Governance Training and Certification
Singapore is set to significantly expand its professional training and certification programs for AI governance and data professionals. This initiative stems from a three-year Memorandum of Intent signed between the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The collaboration will focus on enhancing expertise in data protection, AI governance, and digital responsibility, providing professionals in Singapore with broader access to specialized training, including the IAPP’s Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional certification. Additionally, the agreement extends the integration of the Singapore Data Festival with the IAPP Asia Forum for another three years, fostering international dialogue among policymakers and industry experts.
