Liquibase Secure launches on Snowflake Marketplace
Liquibase Secure is now available on Snowflake Marketplace. This allows Snowflake customers to purchase the database change governance software directly. The product manages changes across Snowflake environments, integrating with existing CI/CD and DataOps processes. Customers can apply Snowflake Marketplace Capacity Drawdown to purchases, using committed spending for the product.
Liquibase's move to the Snowflake Marketplace reflects a broader shift in enterprise software procurement. Companies increasingly seek to consolidate vendor relationships and spending. For Liquibase, this listing extends governance beyond traditional schema management to a wider set of changes affecting structure, access, data movement, and execution across more than 65 database platforms.
This marketplace availability simplifies procurement for Asian enterprises already committed to Snowflake. Capacity drawdown allows eligible buyers to use existing Snowflake budgets, reducing the need for new budget lines. This streamlines internal approvals for software managing Snowflake-based operations, a clear win for IT departments in markets like Singapore and Japan.
The real test for Liquibase Secure will be its adoption rate among large Asian financial institutions and government agencies. These entities require stringent change controls for regulated or operationally sensitive settings. Their willingness to standardize on a single governance method across mixed environments will determine the product's long-term traction.
