Indonesia's automotive market reflects a clear shift toward electric vehicles, with the Jaecoo J5 BEV leading passenger car sales in August 2026. This performance, alongside BYD's robust growth in EV sales, points to increasing consumer adoption of electric models in Southeast Asia's largest economy.
