GoodARCH invests nearly RM1m in AI foot mapping technology, expanding into Malaysia
GoodARCH, an Asian arch support brand, has invested nearly RM1 million (NT$7 million) in an AI-powered foot mapping system. This technology provides a personalized foot assessment in five minutes. The company is expanding its preventive health solutions into Malaysia, with systems available in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Batu Pahat, and Johor Bahru. GoodARCH aims to partner with local health management providers to promote earlier health awareness in the country.
GoodARCH's RM1 million investment in AI foot mapping shifts the focus from treatment to prevention in Malaysia's health market. The system, developed by an 11-member team over 12 months, assesses foot structure and identifies arch imbalances. It targets a market where up to 75 percent of people are expected to experience foot problems.
This expansion benefits Malaysian consumers through accessible, AI-driven health assessments. GoodARCH's strategy of partnering with local health providers offers a clear path for market penetration. The company's two decades in foot health and existing patents across Asia provide a strong foundation for this entry into preventive care.
The thing to watch is how quickly GoodARCH can integrate with Malaysia's health management providers. Success depends on uptake beyond its current 300,000 users. If partnerships scale effectively, it could redefine early foot health intervention in the region.
