Visko, an AI research company, has secured a $10 million pre-seed funding round and launched Orbis, its first Live Model. Orbis is a foundation model designed to create and stream interactive 4K video at 24 frames per second, capable of hour-scale generation without visual or color degradation. Unlike conventional AI video generators that render offline clips, Orbis operates in real time, allowing users to modify prompts instantly during continuous video generation. The company, founded in 2025 by former Apple researcher Qing (Will) Yin, aims to pioneer a new class of AI models that simulate persistent, physics-grounded worlds.
