The city scored 74.6 out of 100 points across seven key areas, widening its lead over Singapore to two points from 0.2 last year. Hong Kong maintained its first-place ranking in business and economy, and improved from fourth to third in innovation and ideas. However, the study noted that Hong Kong still lags behind rivals in attracting technology investment, despite gains in other areas.
