This 3-hour workshop, co-organized by SGInnovate and NVIDIA, focuses on the foundational capabilities of agentic AI: building agents and Agentic RAG. Participants will create a Report Generation Agent that can research topics and generate detailed reports, and an IT Help Desk Agent that uses retrieval and reasoning to answer user questions from a knowledge base. After the in-person session, attendees will receive exclusive access to continue the remaining 4 modules independently on NVIDIA Brev, covering advanced topics such as agent evaluation, reinforcement learning, deep agents, and agent safety. The workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate developers with basic Python knowledge, an understanding of APIs, familiarity with large language models, and basic command-line skills. Participants will learn to build agents using NVIDIA Nemotron models and LangChain, implement Agentic RAG systems with NVIDIA NeMo Retriever and FAISS, and gain skills in evaluating, customizing, securing, and deploying AI agents.
