Public Speaking for Developers
A hands-on workshop in Tokyo for tech professionals to improve their English public speaking and pitching skills for hackathons and conferences.
A workshop and interactive session designed to help developers, designers, and PMs master the art of communication and pitching, especially in English. The event addresses the common struggle where brilliant technical products fail to land due to poor presentation. Led by Kaustubh Hiware (Senior Software Engineer at Mercari) and other experts, the session includes talks on public speaking techniques, a guide on how to write and submit CFPs for conferences, and a hands-on interactive session where attendees practice 1-minute pitches in small groups. The goal is to lower the barrier for Japanese tech professionals to present at international conferences and improve the quality of hackathon demos.
