ikigai vibe hack 1.0 is a one-day 'vibe coding' hackathon in Taipei designed for builders, founders, and makers. Participants are encouraged to bring a rough idea and use AI tools to ship a functional prototype by the end of the day. The event focuses on consumer product ideas across social, lifestyle, productivity, entertainment, and gaming categories. Thanks to a partnership with the OpenAI Codex Ambassador program, every builder receives OpenAI credits to facilitate AI-assisted coding. The day concludes with 2-minute demos, judging by 886 Studios partners, and an award ceremony with cash prizes and significant API credits. The event is conducted in English and includes lunch and technical mentorship from ikigai startups.
