Apollyon Dynamics, a defense technology startup based in Hyderabad, India, has developed the Ahuti Mk II, an electric multirotor interceptor drone. This UAV achieved a certified top speed of 498 km/h, setting a new record for multirotor systems in India. The startup, incubated at BITS Pilani Hyderabad, announced the milestone after official recognition by the India Book of Records. The Ahuti Mk II is designed for high-speed interception, specifically targeting threats like loitering munitions, and represents a substantial engineering leap from previous models. Apollyon Dynamics has conducted extensive field trials with the Indian Army and plans to develop a larger power cruise missile platform by the end of the decade.
