Lufthansa breaks ground on largest PH investment yet
Lufthansa Technik Philippines is set to construct a new maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Clark International Airport, marking its largest investment in the Philippines to date. This significant project will span a 157,000-square-meter site and involve hundreds of millions of dollars in investment. The facility is projected to create up to 1,200 skilled jobs, substantially boosting local employment. Holger Beck, President and CEO of Lufthansa, stated that this new Clark facility will surpass the company’s existing operation at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in terms of investment scale.
