China chip dreams still face long road even after breakthrough
China has reportedly begun the mass production of deep ultraviolet (DUV) immersion lithography machines, marking a significant step in its national push for technological self-sufficiency in the semiconductor sector. A state-backed company in Shanghai is said to be manufacturing these critical chipmaking machines, according to a report by The Information.
