Singapore, Indonesia Business Chambers Expand AI Trade Support for SMEs
Singapore and Indonesia are expanding business cooperation to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) utilize AI tools and access regional markets. The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) reviewed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on digital enablement, policy engagement, and capability building. This partnership includes business forums, workshops, and business-matching activities, specifically targeting Indonesian SMEs. A key component is the rollout of Trade AI Advisor Indonesia, a generative AI platform designed to assist businesses with cross-border trade navigation.
The collaboration between Singapore and Indonesia to boost AI adoption among SMEs, particularly in Indonesia, is a practical step towards regional digital integration.
